Caralee Gately has been an educator since 1997, serving in a variety of K-12 teaching positions, as a School Library Media Specialist, Communications Coordinator, and currently working as a District Technology Coordinator for the Washington Township Schools, Morris County, NJ. Caralee is driven by a vision of Educational Technology as a way to empower people to be successful, meaningful users of technology to solve problems and support teaching and learning. Her mission is to innovate, educate and inspire impactful change to keep moving our schools forward to meet the needs of all students in an ever-changing society.
Caralee earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the State University of New York at Oswego in Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Studies. She earned a Master's Degree in Educational Technology with a School Library Media Specialization from New Jersey City University where she is also currently a doctoral student in the Educational Technology Leadership Ed.D program. Caralee holds NJ standard certifications in Supervisor and School Library Media Specialist as well as teaching certifications in K-8 Elementary Education and K-12 Teacher of Social Studies.
As part of her journey toward higher learning as she pursues her doctorate, Caralee is proud to share her work through this website, supporting her goal of connecting people to resources and ideas in the hopes of fostering a love of learning and encouraging a path to continued learning.
